Buckeye’s standout outdoor amenity is Skyline Regional Park, an 8,700-acre mountain preserve in the southern White Tank Mountains. The park offers about 20 miles of trails for hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding, along with picnic areas, ramadas and campsites. Buckeye also operates neighborhood parks, sports programs, an aquatic center and other recreation facilities throughout the city.

Major projects include new employment centers, infrastructure, retail and master-planned development, including Teravalis, a roughly 37,000-acre community planned for as many as 100,000 homes over its long-term buildout.

Verrado is one of Buckeye’s best-known lifestyle destinations, with its Main Street district, parks, community amenities and proximity to the White Tank Mountains. Buckeye also offers multiple golf options, including the Founders and Victory courses at Verrado Golf Club, Sundance Golf Club and Copper Canyon Golf Club. New retail and dining are continuing to expand as Buckeye grows, including development around Verrado Marketplace and other emerging commercial areas.
